Cooking & Computers…
Check out the new volunteer roles that have just become available at Holden Street!
If you are interested come along to the office and talk to us.
Stop, Look, Listen, Make!
Holden Street has a wide range of programs and activities for adults and
children to enjoy. Highlights this semester include:
- North Fitzroy Beatbox Club – Get in the groove and make your own hip hop, rap, R & B and beat music using computers. Spit lyrics and put together songs for a CD. For 12 – 15-year-olds.
- Cooking 4 Kids – stay tuned for more information
- Softies – Is there an old (or new) Softie in your life? Our Softies are lovable creatures that are easy to make. Be a part of the craze and learn how to sew your own over two morning sessions with Madeleine. Workshop is suitable for ages 7 and up. Participants would be taught both hand and machine sewing techniques.
Further details for the above are on our website.
Enrol now so you don’t miss out on an opportunity to stop and look at the art of cooking for kids; listen to talented youth creating cool music; make a gorgeous soft toy!
Tue 14 Dec 2010; 12:00pm: Christmas Party
Good company, good cheer and good food.
Bookings essential.
